CNR (Ranger Oil) Kyle

CNR Kyle

U.K. Blocks 29/2a and 29/2c

Landmark: Hydraulic running tool with 13-5/8" slim-bore tubing hanger

The Kyle field, which was discovered in 1993, is located in Blocks 29/2a and 29/2c and is 105 miles (170 km) east of Stonehaven on the Scottish mainland. The field is expected to produce 35 mmbo throughout its life. The field produces from four subsea wells connected to the Ramform Banff FPSO by pipeline and flexible risers. Oil is exported via the Banff shuttle tankers. All well fluids are transferred by a new 12" pipeline to the Curlew FPSO, 10 miles (17 km) south of the Kyle field, for separation and export. Oil is exported by shuttle tanker and gas by existing Curlew pipeline into the Fulmar pipeline.
