Even before being commercialized, the InLine ElectroCoalescer has received positive feedback from the industry. The truly inline and ultra-compact design is installed as quickly as a standard flange and is considerably cheaper than alternative solutions (chemical/electrical). The InLine ElectroCoalescer meets the requirements for improved separation and outperforms other electrostatic coalescer technologies in CAPEX, footprint and installation time.
Application/Typical Application Areas:
-
Upstream of the gravity separators in a light/conventional oil process train struggling to reach specifications for oil export
-
In any conventional/heavy oil process trains to increase the water discharge from the first and second stage separators, thereby reducing the OPEX for the last stage heat exchanger and providing proper inlet conditions (less than 20 percent water) for the oil treater
-
Treating the emulsion band in onshore and offshore gravity separators and settling tanks in an external loop system.
-
In a small mobile skid for slop tanks to treat oil-continuous emulsions from well operations (InLine ElectroCoalescer and pump)
-
In compact separation systems, accompanying other InLine products from CDS
It is the selection of insulation materials, high-voltage penetration and power generation which define the performance of an electrostatic coalescer. The CDS InLine ElectroCoalescer’s unique features will make it stand out from the majority. Its performance is currently being tested in our facilities in Arnhem.
