The highly efficient compact gas demisting technology is designed to remove the smallest droplets from the gas stream and produce a gas phase that can enter sensitive equipment and processes such as gas compressors and other gas treatment processes. The inline unit consists of CDS SpiraflowTM arranged in a bundle within a pipe spool to achieve similar demisting separation performance as a conventional scrubber, but in a much more compact way.
Application
The technology can be used at any application where a very high gas quality stream is required, e.g. for gas entering gas compression and treatment processes. Typical applications can be:
- InLine DeMister in combination with other InLine Technologies, downsteam of an InLine PhaseSplitter to produce a very clean gas stream
- Installation of the InLine DeMister downstream an existing scrubber that experience high liquid cary over
- Demisting of a low liquid content gas production stream where a large scrubber is not needed – but where fine demisting is required
Features and Benefits
-
Compact: It offers a very compact method of achieving fine separation of small quantities of liquid droplets from a gas stream. It installs easily into both existing facilities as well as more compact new build processes.
-
Delivery time: The delivery time is short from order to installed equipment. Compared to conventional separator vessels it has a substantially shorter lead time.
-
Increased Production: Installation can easily be achieved in existing processes to enable debottlenecking and increased production rates.
-
Proven Technology: Several units have been in operation for many years with no failure under a large variety of operating conditions. We have an extensive track record for delivering this kind of technology through numerous deliveries of SpiraflowTM demisting cyclones.
-
Performance: Through compact, high performance gas demisting, gas qualities required for gas compressors and gas treatment processes can be achieved.
