Research and Development is an integral part of exploring new separation techniques. To ensure our designs are as robust and efficient in practice as they are on paper, we conduct rigorous tests under operating conditions, in-house as well as on-site. Our R&D team is recognized by many major oil companies as the most innovative technology experts in the separation industry. The team has been the key facilitator to enable new step-change developments, such as subsea separation and sand handling technologies and the development of an unique InLine technology portfolio. The R&D team has won several prestigious industry awards, including Spotlight of New Technology awards at the OTC conference in 2004 and 2006.
Also in 2007 we received the prestigious Eureka Lillehammer Award for the Subsea Separator R&D project, which was carried out in collaboration with Statoil (compact subsea separation system with integrated sand management). This is an award for sustainable solutions to problems associated with waste and pollution in Europe.
