Water in Oil Monitors

WCM 7400 Temperature and Density Compensated Water Cut Monitor/Probe

The Model WCM 7400 provides the highest sensitivity, resolution and accuracy in a capacitance type WCM monitor without the need for re-calibration after changes in product temperature or crude oil gravity.

The monitor includes a built in temperature probe and a density input that is ideal for use with FMC Technologies' Proline Promass Coriolis Mass Flow Meters. The result is accurate water cut measurement for use in crude oil, hydrocarbons and other low dielectric liquids from a max of 25% to levels below 1000 parts per million (ppm). For applications in oil and natural gas (condensate) production, a single water cut monitor can alternately measure different fluid types without adjustment. 

WCM 7400 E Insertion Style Probe

The 7400E is designed to lower the cost measuring the water cut or S&W in larger pipelines where the use of an inline probe is not economical. This unit maintains the accuracy of our inline WCM 7300, but can be installed into any size line above three inches.

WCM 7400 Retrofit Kit

Existing INVALCO WCM 7300 and CX-645 water cut monitors are fully upgradeable to accept density compensation using the WCM 7400 Upgrade Kit. This will allow operators to run over a much wider range of fluids and/or operating conditions without the need for re-calibration. Upgrading a WCM 7300 will require the addition of a density input and upgrading a CS-645 will require both a density and RTD temperature input.

7300 Temperature Compensated Water Cut Monitor/Probe

Designed to provide the highest possible sensitivity, resolution and accuracy for water content determination in crude oil, other hydrocarbons, or other low dielectric liquids from a maximum of 25 percent to levels below 1,000 parts per million (ppm). In oil and gas (condensate) productions, water cut and S&W measurements are significantly improved with the WCM 7300 technology.

Model 4528 EZ Detector Model, 4728 BS&W Monitor and Model CX-645 Probe

The INVALCO Model 4728 BS&W Monitor, in conjunction with a Model 4528 EZ Detector and a Model CX-645 Capacitance Probe is a continuous online monitor or percent water in a flowing crude oil emulsion stream. This unit displays percent of water in various ranges from zero percent to five percent up to and including zero percent to 20 percent on a digital LCD indicator. In addition, the Model 4728 provides a 4-20mA analog output proportional to input range, and a field adjusted, time delayed, limit relay for valve control or alarming.

The Model 4728 utilitzes CMOS circuitry for low power consumption, high reliability, and wide temperature stability.
