Measuring meter uncertainty is no easy task, but the FMC Technologies Flow Research and Test Center is capable of proving meters over a wide range of hydrocarbon fluids and flow rates capable of simulating conditions in the field. PD meters, conventional turbine meters, helical turbine meters and ultrasonic meters can be tested dynamically to simulate operating conditions in the field for any crude oil application. The Flow Research and Test Center maintains the widest dynamic flow range of any flow lab in the world, and is ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited by NVLAP Lab Code 200939-0.
