Floating roof drains are all-metal articulated jumper assemblies specially designed for submerged service applications in storage tanks. They effectively drain water from storage tank floating roof towards the outside of the storage tank, and are recommended for petroleum products applications.
FMC has developed and designed drains to meet your every requirement in terms of reservoir size, submerged environment sealability and compatibility with stored liquid.
FMC Floating Roof drains are equipped with Chiksan® swivel joints and are specially designed to meet submerged application requirements. They are comprised of an articulated piping of three rigid elements with two flanged end connections.
