FMC's submerged swivel joint represents a very reliable solution for submerged applications. It's sealability has been specifically designed for use with floating roof drains in storage tanks.
FMC has been supplying Chiksan® swivel joints prepared for submerged service in floating roof reservoirs for over 40 years.
Subject to product contact on both the interior and exterior of the swivel joint, FMC's submerged swivel joints provide the ideal answer to submerged transfer applications.
FMC submerged swivel joints are usually equipped with aromatic-resistant, viton, main seals. For special applications, such as MTBE, ETBE, lead-free petrol, they are equipped with high quality PTFE main packing and secondary seal.
