FMC offers a complete range of accessories for Chiksan® truck and railcar loading arms, from the most basic to the most sophisticated. This is the very latest generation, reliable and high-performance equipment for all your transfer requirements.

FMC Chiksan truck and railcar accessories offer full support and ensure enhanced safety for all your truck and railcar loading/unloading operations. They are designed to provide arms with the additional functions which enable them to meet the exacting current transfer requirements, notably as far as the environment protection, operating staff safety (emergency release system), and standardization (API RP 1004 bottom loading) are concerned.

All Chiksan truck and railcar accessories are available for a complete range of fluids at ambient, elevated and cryogenic temperatures.

The state of the art Chiksan truck and railcar accessories include:

  • Breakaway coupler
    The ERS-type (Emergency Release System) breakaway coupling ensures quick emergency separation of the arm from the tank if the vehicle moves accidentally away from the pre-established area, without any major loss of product. Shear pin type breakaway coupler also available.

  • Dome seal
    Provides full sealability during top open dome loading of toxic or flammable products. Two types of dome seal are available: conical seal and inflatable seal.

  • Valves
    Full range of valves from the latest technology including piggable valves, manual or actuated valves for chemicals and cryogenic products, heated products. FMC is able to study and satisfy any request for special applications.

  • Overfilling preventing systems
    Enables detection of abnormal preset level parameters compared to the required fill level and emits an output signal which triggers an overfill management sequence. Several types of overfilling detection units are available: pneumatic, electric, and others.
