Reverse Circulation Drilling

Reverse Circulation Drilling is the exploration process of removing samples from the earth to determine the mineral composition for potential mining operations. This method captures the cuttings from the drilling process to examine for mineral composition. The FMC Bean piston pump is the industry standard for providing water and or mud to the drill bit to remove the drilling cuttings and maintain cool bit temperatures. The piston pump design using the self cleaning valves allows the driller to change the drill fluid from water to mud to mud with lost circulation material during the drilling process. This flexibility allows using the drill rig in most drilling environments with no modification to the FMC Bean pump. The wearable components are made to last long periods of time without maintenance. When maintenance is required on wearable parts, access is easy and required time and tools are minimal. From reduced the downtime of the rig, the driller can maximize the drilled depth per shift.
