Currently under development, PMM12 will deliver up to 12MW (16,000HP) of power at 10,000RPM with operational voltages of 6,600V and higher. With very high efficiencies of approximately 98 percent, PMM12 will provide an excellent return on invested capital. The machine has been designed for use as a high-speed driver for turbomachinery in the oil and gas and process industries. It can be optimized for application-specific requirements, and can also be optimized as a generator for gas turbine gensets.
PMM12 will be available with oil lubricated tilt pad bearings or active radial magnetic bearings.
