Dr. Thorleif Enger is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Yara International. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Hydro Agri from 1999 to 2004. Dr. Enger served as Executive Vice President of Oil and Gas for Norsk Hydro from 1996 to 1999, and President of Hydro’s Exploration and Production Division from 1987 to 1996. Dr. Enger is the Chairman of the Board of Spring Energy, an Oslo-based independent Norwegian upstream oil and gas company, and serves on the supervisory board of E.ON Ruhrgas AG, a German upstream gas company. He is also currently a Board member of Acergy and Marine Harvest ASA.
