Type "GA" series tubing heads and spools are designed primarily for working pressures up to 3,000 psi. The "GA" series is our most economical line of tubing suspension housings that incorporate a tapered bore design. This series of tubing suspension housings accept the Galaxy type “TA” series tubing hangers. Lockdown screws are incorporated in all “GA” housings, whilst the “GA” tubing spool also maintains test and bleed ports in the lower flange to permit testing of the primary and secondary seals. The 7 1/16” API 2000 lower flanged "GA" tubing spool is available with an integral secondary seal assembly in the internal detail. All other sizes of “GA” tubing spools require and accept the type "GAC" secondary seal assembly. "GA" tubing head spools complement the "FC," "GH" and “GC-22” series casing suspension housings, thus providing the most economical method of flanged wellhead completion available from Galaxy.
