Pack-off flanges, such as the "DPF" drilled pack-off flange and the "DSPF" double studded packoff flange, are placed in the drilling stack on top of the casing head before the shoe joint is drilled out. This provides the operator with assured control of pressures that can be encountered after the cement has been drilled out, and the annulus exposed to formation pressures. To enable proper drilling stack outlet detail, a spacer flange of equal thickness to the pack-off flange is included in the stack when the casing is run. These pack-off flanges incorporate the "GLS" secondary sealing medium and are equipped with bleed and test ports. Integral bit guides are available in all models. For more versatility, models with replaceable bit guides are available. Commonly used sizes are available on a rental basis.
