Landmark: FMC's First Major Deepwater Subsesa Project in Nigeria
Chevron Agbami is FMC’s first major subsea project in Nigeria, along with FMC Houston’s first project to be executed in Nigeria. It comprises twelve four-slot manifolds and suction piles manufactured in Nigeria. There is a significant technology and skills transfer to Nigeria with training and development of local personnel in engineering and management disciplines, along with sub supplier and supply chain development within Nigeria.
Additional equipment added in 2007: 11 subsea trees.
