- System integration, testing, installation assistance, service and maintenance
Comments:
The former Saga Petroleum company became operator for PL 089 when the license was awarded in 1984.
Norsk Hydro took over operatorship after acquiring Saga in 1999.
Statoil (today StatoilHydro) took over operatorship on January 1, 2003.
The Field:
Onstream since 1997, the Vigdis oil field lies in block 34/7 in the Tampen area.
In addition to the Vigdis main structure, the Vigdis field comprises the Borg North-West (2003) and Vigdis East (2004) structures.
The field has been developed with seabed installations.
