Comments
Petrobras America, Inc. selected FMC Technologies to supply production equipment for the Cascade project. The Cascade and Chinook fields are located in the Walker Ridge area of the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 300 km (180 miles) south of the Louisiana coast, in water depth 2,590 m (8,500 ft). The systems provided by FMC Technologies will be located in average depths of 2,590 m (8,500 ft) to support Petrobras’ development of the Cascade and Chinook fields. FMC Technologies was pleased to be selected by Petrobras for this fast track subsea development in the Gulf of Mexico. FMC and Petrobras have a long term relationship from working together on challenging projects that dates back thirty (30) years.
