FMC Technologies is the premier subsea system manifold provider. FMC's manifold modules have been designed to handle flow from four (4) to ten (10) individual wells and direct the flow into up to four (4) production flowline headers inclusive of pigging loops, flow meters and control systems.

The purpose of the Manifold Module is to:

• Provide an interface between the production pipeline, flowline and the well
• Collect produced fluids from individual sub sea wells
• Distribute production fluids, inject gas, inject chemicals and control fluid
• Distribute the electrical and hydraulic system
• Support the manifold wing hubs, the flow line hubs and the umbilical hubs
• Support and protect all pipe work and valves
• Provide lifting points for Manifold Module during installation and retrieval
• Provide a support platform for a ROV during ROV operations
• Provide sea-fastening interfaces
