The Western Region services approximately 520 wells throughout the western region and also holds the world's deepest completion fields with Shell's Coulomb Field located in the Gulf of Mexico at a depth of 2,300 m (7,550 ft) of water. The install completion base operate in well pressures from 5,000 psi. upto 15,000 psi. with even greater pressures under development.
