FMC's project management systems provide for an integrated management of HSE, scope, quality, cost and schedule using an experienced project management staff and a structured project management process. Global coordination of complex system deliveries is made possible thru our common system and technical databases.

System engineering services are available to support the development of large and complex systems, where our unique knowledge of field architecture and component design can provide a significant impact to cost and reliability.

A top down design principle is used to implement System Engineering. The requirements for the system are first defined, then the system is broken down to its constituent subsystems and finally to individual components for each subsystem.

System Engineering is responsible for and will follow up all engineering being done in the project. Main focus is related to:

• System definition including project design basis and schematics
• Selection of technology and testing requirements
• Bill of Material for the project
• Follow up of detail design
• System integration testing
