Company Receives #1 Honor for the Third Time in the Last Four Years

FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FTI) announced today that it has been selected by FORTUNE Magazine as the most admired company in the Oil and Gas Equipment, Services industry for 2008.  This is the third time in the last four years that the Houston-based energy technology provider has received the top FORTUNE honor.

FORTUNE Magazine assessed companies in 64 industry sectors to arrive at the 2008 rankings.  Companies were judged on eight categories, including management and financial strength, product quality, innovation and social responsibility.  FMC Technologies’ overall score was the third highest among the 317 companies that appeared on this year’s list.  In addition to earning the #1 ranking in the Oil and Gas Equipment, Services industry, FMC Technologies was the highest rated of 61 Texas-based companies and was #1 among the 25 Houston-based companies.
