2008 Training Schools
Measurement Solutions offers first-class hands on training by experienced instructors on Smith Meter™ Pipeline and Terminal Loadrack Equipment, Smith Meter™ AccuLoad III, MPU Ultrasonic Gas Flowmeters as well as Sening™ Tank Truck Poducts and Systems.
Course Objectives
Our courses are designed to provide a full understanding of the basic principles of operation, installation, programming, servicing and maintenance of Smith Meter™ and Sening™ products. Emphasis is on workshop practices including supervised assembly and disassembly, calibration, parameter setting, adjustments and troubleshooting of meters and accessories, as well as electronic and mechanical tank truck equipment.
Who Should Attend
Persons whose duties lie in the maintenance, operation, and specification of marketing terminals, pipelines, production units and/ or tank truck building and maintenance, especially:
• Personnel who have assumed new metering responsibilities including disciplines such as maintenance, operations, applications, and engineering.
• Personnel learning new metering applications, design changes, and improved metering methods.
• Companies that demand more accurate and reliable metering.
Along with the on-site training, participants receive a CD that includes product specifications, parts lists, and installation/operation/service manuals applicable to the products covered.
Class Hours:
Class sessions are held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Check the dates for each course before confirming your travel schedule.
Accommodations:
Schools are held in Erie, Pennsylvania USA, Torrance, California USA and Ellerbek, Germany.
Participants attending the Ellerbek, Germany schools, are asked to make reservations at one of the hotels listed in the Ellerbek, Germany Travel Information; or contact the Ellerbek reception desk (phone +49 4101 304-0) for assistance.
Participants attending the Erie or Torrance schools are asked to make hotel reservations at one of the below recommended hotels.

Registration: Erie/Torrance Registration Form, Ellerbek Registration Form Transportation to and from the school’s location, hotel expense, and meals (other than lunches during training) are the participant’s responsibility. Reservations are confirmed on a “first come-first served” basis. Please note that attendance is limited to 20 participants.
Students may cancel a registration up to two (2) weeks prior to a class start date with a full refund. No cancellations or rescheduling requests will be accepted if received less than two weeks prior to the class date. However, another person may be substituted for registrant at any time. All registration fees are due in full, two (2) weeks prior to the start of the course. FMC Technologies has the right to cancel a school if the attendance does not meet the Ten (10) person minimum. In this instance, all payments will be fully refunded.

Fee: $950.00

Fee: €60.00
per person per day.
