Chiksan® loading arms for top closed systems are the ideal solution for the loading or unloading of liquefied gases, solvents, hazardous chemicals such as chlorine, acids, etc and refrigerated products. The transfer is into or from tanks whose upper manholes are equipped with flanged or coupler systems. The tank to arm connection is completely sealed preventing any risk of vapor or product leakage during the transfer process.

Chiksan® top closed system loading arms are designed to meet the specific requirements of hard-to-handle products. They can either have flanged ends or can be equipped with the latest generation of proven dependable coupling devices to ensure safe and quick connections and disconnections.
Available in low-temperature carbon steel, aluminium or stainless steel, these arms are well suited to your application, whatever the transferred product. FMC Technologies also offers jacketed or PTFE-lined models for heated and corrosive products.
The arms are configured in a wide range of diameters and lengths to meet the specific requirements of your loading installation. All the arms are equipped with reliable and high-performance accessories and equipment such as the patented Composite Spring, a simple technically advanced system, that eliminates maintenance and greatly facilitates the manoeuvrability of the arm.
Model 375 / 475
Closed system for top loading or unloading of trucks and railcars. This arm has the same features and capabilities as the top - open dome - Model 374. It offers the maximum amount of horizontal operating range and flexibility for handling mis-spotted vehicles where overhead obstructions are a consideration. The primary arm, secondary arm and drop tube fold back to the rack for storage. The addition of the style 50 swivel joint on the outboard arm gives two planes of rotation to facilitate the alignment of a coupling device to the vehicle for unloading or loading.
Model 371 / 471
Same as the Model 375, but terminates with a style 10 instead of a style 50 swivel joint, giving an additional degree of freedom.
