Chiksan® bottom loading arms are specifically designed for the loading/unloading of liquefied gas, petroleum and chemical products to and from trucks or railcars through tight connections located on the bottom. This system permits easy and safe transfer even under extreme temperature and pressure conditions. The range also includes Chiksan bottom unloading arms specifically designed for the unloading of products by gravity.

Chiksan® bottom loading arms are available in a wide range of sizes, designs, and lengths to meet the specific requirements of your loading installation. They are available in low temperature carbon steel, aluminium and stainless steel and handle liquefied gases including LNG, chemicals and refrigerated products. Jacketed or PTFE-lined models to handle heated or corrosive products respectively are also available.
In case of liquefied gas including LNG and chemicals transfer, the loading station may include either one single loading liquid phase arm, or two arms if a vapour phase balance is needed.
All Chiksan® bottom loading arms are equipped with reliable, high-performance accessories and equipment.
Model 545 Suitable for bottom loading of trucks and railcars. Comprises a long-reach arm capable of being stored in a near vertical position. Where multiple connections are necessary, crossover can be achieved by staggering riser heights.
Model 541 Same as Model 545, but terminating with a style 10 instead of a style 50 swivel joint, thus providing an additional degree of freedom.
Model 377 / 477 Suitable for the side or rear (un)loading of truck and railcars. This arm is mainly used as single arm or as tandem stations (with gas balance arm) and is very appropriate for transfer of LPG and chemicals. It can be equipped with a breakaway coupler. Our "dryline" model is best designed for unloading of petroleum products from railcars.

Model 378 / 478 Same as model 377 but terminates with end style 80 instead of style 70 swivel joint.
