FMC has developed a range of skimmers for submerged service applications in storage reservoirs. The articulated jumper assemblies enable floating waste to be extracted to from the product surface. FMC designed the skimmers to meet all requirements in terms of reservoir size, submerged environment sealability and stored liquid compatibility.
The FMC Skimmer is equipped with swivel joints and a float, enabling it to adjust itself to a product level, thus guaranteeing uncontaminated transfer. A low stop prevents the floater from dropping to the deposit area.
