The LNG Chiksan swivel joint is the latest state-of-the-art in swivel technology. Its superior performance is based on its innovative patented packing, making the joint resistant to very low temperatures.
Among the advantages that the LNG Chiksan swivel joint presents are the innovative field-replaceable snap-in ball races that are hardened. These provide extra-strength and a high load-bearing capacity while considerably lengthening the service life of the joint.
Other features that make the LNG Chiksan swivel joint the perfect solution for the transfer of LNG include the 3-piece design, which allows primary seal replacement without dismantling the swivel joint, and the nitrogen drying system preventing the entry of atmospheric moisture.
These features combine to give the LNG Chiksan swivel joint superior seal integrity and a long service life with minimal on-site low cost maintenance.
