The field-replaceable snap-in ball races give the Chiksan® Series 2000 swivel joint longer service life and simplify their maintenance. When the ball races are worn out there is no need to cut the swivel from the loading arm and completely replace it; the replacement operation is simple and quick and can be carried out on site.
The FMC patented Straight Bore Teflon Seal® (SBTS), which is both mechanically and pressure energized provides a bubble-tight seal, thus lengthening the swivel joint life.
The 3-piece design of the Chiksan® Series 2000 Stainless steel swivel joint enables the packing to be easily replaced without dismantling the joint. A low-cost easy operation that can be carried out on site.
