Couplers

FMC Couplers allow Chiksan® Marine Loading Arms or Truck and Railcar Loading Arms to be connected / disconnected to a tanker manifold flange during normal loading or unloading operations without the need of bolts and nuts. In addition to reducing the time and manpower required to connect / disconnect an arm, the coupler can also enhance the safety of operations.

FMC Technologies has a large range of field proven reliable couplers to meet any oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical or other fluid transfer application from -196°C for liquid nitrogen to +232°C for molten phosphorous. Couplers can be manual or hydraulically powered to meet the specific requirements of each application.

FMC continues to improve the reliability, enhanced safety, ease of maintenance and the life expectancy of its couplers through continued R&D investment. The large range of FMC Chiksan couplers available will meet the most stringent technical standards set by governing bodies and associations.
