This patented radiator, built right into the tank, is designed to minimize oil turbulence. It has a two zone temperature control, which heats the cooking oil fast and with uniformity, resulting in more consistent products and oil quality. The radiator design virtually eliminates heat transfer hot spots which can lead to a scorched oil flavor.  Many THERMoFIN users have eliminated the need to discard oil, even when frying fine flour coated products.

The control begins with a more open design in the low profile vertical fin heat exchanger.  Large and small crumbs from coated products fall through the open spaces in the radiator to a patented sediment removal system.
