Introduced in 1996, FMC Technologies’ mobile inspection and repair service is the industry’s largest fleet of repair and inspection mobile units. Reaching customer locations throughout the entire world, the mobile unit package provides inspection, testing, repair, documentation and certification directly at the customer’s project location. With customized service at the project location, customers see an increase in product life and a reduction in overall operating costs.
With the recent addition of an enclosed pressure-testing cell to the mobile unit package, FMC is promoting safety at a higher level. Set up on location, the enclosed test cells capture excess water from hydro testing in areas where storm water drainage is regulated. In cold weather, the total enclosure of the test area eliminates freeze-ups. It also improves the overall process efficiency.
