To satisfy your total flowline requirements, FMC Technologies has consolidated its industry leading after-sales capabilities into a comprehensive Integrated Services program. This unique approach to after-sales service provides you with a complete range of solutions on a global basis. The result: You get the exact services you need, when and where you need them.
FMC Technologies laid the foundation for the Integrated Services program several years ago by increasing its focus on your changing flowline equipment needs. This total solutions approach to after-sales service is helping customers worldwide achieve the maximum value from their flowline products. Integrated Services consists of the following capabilities:
Asset Management
Tracking and maintaining the volume of flowline equipment used in high-pressure pumping services is a major undertaking. Asset Management is a cooperative program where specially trained Fluid Control personnel inventory, track and maintain a customer's flowline assets at their facility or in a designated Fluid Control facility. The customer knows the exact location and condition of the equipment at all times. By identifying equipment usage patterns and maintenance intervals, customers can better plan and budget for major repairs and replacement equipment. Fluid Control's Asset Management program is helping both domestic and international customers significantly increase equipment utilization rates and service life while reducing total costs and safety concerns.
Mobile Inspection and Repair
Fluid Control introduced its Mobile Inspection and Repair service in January 1996. Today, a fleet of four mobile units manned with specially trained personnel perform complete inspection and repair services for high-pressure flowline equipment at customer locations. These units are on the road an average of 48 weeks a year. Mobile Inspection and Repair is a preventive and routine maintenance program designed to maximize equipment life and minimize equipment operating and replacement costs. The mobile package includes inspection, testing, repair, and documentation with the goal of extending product life and reducing operator costs. All services can be customized to specific customer requirements.
Fluid Control Service Centers
To keep Chiksan and Weco products in top working condition, Fluid Control offers factory rebuild services from locations worldwide. In addition to its Stephenville, Texas and Aberdeen, Scotland locations, Fluid Control has opened Service Centers in Lafayette, Louisiana; Villahermosa, Mexico; and Maracaibo and Maturin, Venezuela. Fluid Control is aggressively working to expand its in-house refurbishment services to meet growing demand. One way Fluid Control has improved service is through the use of collection bins and a trailer transport service. Flowline products in need of repair are placed in the bins for pickup by Fluid Control. The products are repaired and returned to the customer in top working condition.
Authorized Repair Centers
Fluid Control distributes Chiksan and Weco products from more than 60 locations worldwide. To extend its worldwide capabilities, many of these distributors function as Authorized Repair Centers. Trained personnel provide complete technical assistance, field support, and after-sales service. Routine quality audits ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards.
Spare Parts Management
Chiksan and Weco products are manufactured to precise dimensional tolerances using specialized materials of construction, unique machining processes, and strict quality control measures. The service life of these products can be extended with routine maintenance and simple repair using genuine FMC Technologies manufactured spare parts.
