FMC Technologies compensation system is designed to attract, retain, and motivate employees.  We pay competitively with companies within our industries and labor markets. FMC utilized a Pay for Performance system designed to encourage and recognize superior performance through higher compensation. Additionally a number of businesses have profit sharing plans which could include significant payouts based on local divisional business performance. Employee recognition is another important component to the compensation package. Numerous corporate and local programs reward individual and team contributions to the business.

We believe that an essential part of our overall compensation package includes a competitive benefits program of medical, dental and life insurance, a defined benefit (retirement plan) and defined contribution plan (401k), short-term and long-term disability, long-term care insurance, and an employee assistance program.  The company match of 5% in the defined contribution plan (401k) puts us among the most generous offering this benefit.
