FMC Technologies Eastern Region’s Subsea Business is constantly looking for financial talent to be developed into future leaders of our growing company. The ideal candidate already possesses excellent technical financial skills coupled with cross-functional knowledge in the area of Subsea products, business processes and interfaces well nationally and globally at all levels within the organization. This is a person who is able to see the “big picture” in a complex global organization like FMC Technologies and can apply their technical skills to improve our business. This, however demands a
readiness to develop along with the growth within our organization and become our most valuable asset. We want to speed up the development process by offering Trainees two years of job rotation and training between our different businesses and locations.
Rotation
As a trainee your development plan is divided into four rotations of six months within each business unit within the FMC Eastern Region. This will guarantee you a visible progression on a steep learning curve and relevant experience. You will be trusted with responsibilities for relevant work tasks by participating in strategic projects as well as daily business. The tasks will be given based on both departmental and location specific needs, but the
consistent attribute is to have an educational element for the trainees and be linked to the overall objectives set by Eastern Region Finance Director.
Important network
The rotation and on-the-job training will give you the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals within the industry and build an important network in the different departments throughout the organization.
Support
Within the Finance department, you will be assigned to a mentor for the duration of your stay. This mentor will identify suitable work tasks and support you with regards to technical challenges and development. The mentor will work closely with you on a day-to-day basis, to make ensure your progression inline with the overall objective with the Financial Trainee Program.
