Senior Management makes an a concerted effort to maintain communications and contact with the business and employees. Some examples of how senior management interfaces with the employees include Quarterly Analyst Conference calls upon the release of quarterly earnings, in which we provide employees with access to those calls. We communicate results with employees, from the frontline assembly technician in our manufacturing facilities and the receptionists in our offices, throughout the rest of the organization.
All of our businesses conduct regularly scheduled business update meetings, in which supervisors meet with employees to provide information about their business unit’s performance. We conduct “vertical slice” meetings with senior management – the vertical slice refers to the fact that employees at all levels are invited to participate; these are relatively small group meetings, so everyone has an opportunity to ask questions and register opinions. Our senior management regularly visit work sites and engages in one-on-one exchanges with employees.
We’re continually exploring new ideas for reaching out to employees, including incorporating the latest in technology advances.
